Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 17, 2026

This policy describes how VetStack may and may not be used. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violating this policy may result in account suspension or termination.

1. Permitted use

VetStack is provided for veterinary professionals to document clinical encounters, generate SOAP notes, and manage patient records related to animal medicine. You may use VetStack for any lawful veterinary practice activity, in any country where the service is available.

2. You will not

  • Use VetStack to process human medical information or any data subject to HIPAA.
  • Upload audio, transcripts, or notes that contain content unrelated to legitimate veterinary work.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models, prompts, or system architecture of VetStack.
  • Use VetStack to generate content intended to deceive (e.g., fabricated clinical records, fake credentials, fraudulent insurance documentation).
  • Submit content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any code that could harm VetStack, its users, or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) to interact with VetStack in a way that places undue load on the service, except for legitimate API use under your subscription.
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label VetStack without a written agreement with us.
  • Use VetStack to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any individual.
  • Bypass usage limits, rate limits, or access controls (e.g., creating multiple free accounts to exceed the free-tier note limit).

3. Clinical responsibility

VetStack assists with documentation. It does not replace clinical judgment. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of every note you finalize, and for any clinical decisions you make. AI-generated content must be reviewed before it enters a patient's medical record.

4. Security and integrity

You will not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of VetStack infrastructure without prior written consent. Legitimate security research is welcomed - please coordinate disclosures through our contact page.

5. Enforcement

If we believe you have violated this policy, we may, at our discretion: warn you, suspend specific features, suspend your account, or terminate your access. For serious or repeated violations, we may terminate without warning. Where laws have been broken, we may cooperate with law enforcement.

If you believe an action we took was a mistake, contact us and we will review.

6. Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is using VetStack in violation of this policy, please let us know.
