Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about you. Some are essential for the site to work, others help us understand how the site is used.
2. Cookies we use
VetStack uses two categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies - set by our authentication provider (Clerk) to keep you signed in. Without these, you cannot log into the app.
- Analytics cookies - set by PostHog to help us understand which features are used and where users get stuck. We use this to improve the product. Analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify individual users.
We do not use third-party advertising or marketing cookies.
3. How long they last
Authentication cookies expire when your session ends or you sign out. Analytics cookies last up to one year, after which they are reset.
4. Disabling cookies
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to VetStack. Disabling analytics cookies has no effect on your ability to use the product.
5. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our cookie use changes. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notice.
6. Questions
For anything about how we use cookies or other data, see our privacy policy or contact us.
